Blackbuck case : Jodhpur Court to announce verdict in the Blackbuck case which involves Bollywood’s Daabang star Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Sonali Bendre, Neelam and Tabu.
Jodhpur Court: Jodhpur Court shall give its verdit in the 1996 Blackbuck case against Bollywood Actor Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Sonali Bendre, Neelam and Tabu.
On March 28 final argument of the case were completed in the Trial court after which the judgment was reserved with Chief Justice Magistrate Dev Khatri.
In order for the court to pronounce its verdict all actors including Salman Khan, Tabu, Neelam , Sonali Bendre and Saif Ali Khan needs to be present before court.
After returning from his shoot for Race 3 from Abu Dhabi Salman Khan took a charted plan to Jodhpur today. According to sources Saif Ali Khan, Neelam, Sonali and Tabu too have left for Jodhpur.
Actor Salman Khan is accused of killing two Blackbuck during the shooting of ‘Hum Saath Saath Hai’ in the intervening night of 1-2 October 1998 in Bhagoda ki dhani a small village Kankhani near Jodhpur.
Salman is booked under Section 51 of the Wildlife Protection where as other actors are booked under Section 149 and section 51 of the Wildlife protection and unlawful assembly of IPC.
Public Prosecutor Bhawani Singh Bhati said, “ All of them were in Gypsy car that night, with Salman in the driving seat . He, on spotting a heard of black bucks, shot at and killed two of them.”

Salman Khan’s counsel H.M.Saraswat refuting this allegations said that the case has several loopholes with the prosecutions story and has failed to prove it so far.
He said “Prosecution has failed to prove the allegations. It engaged in tampering and fabricating evidence and documents as well as roping in fake witnesses to prove its case.”
“ It even failed to prove that blackbucks were killed by gunshots. Hence, such investigations cannot be trusted.” He added.
Dushyant Singh and Dinesh Gawre who is alleged to accompany the actors is also involved in the case which the poaching took place.
Public Prosecutor Bhati claimed, “Gawre never appeared in the court and was made to disappear by the main accused. Had he been around, there could have been more information available in the case.”
